Allen Woods has been developing information systems for some 20 years. A chartered member of the British Computer Society, Allen has designed and built a number of major applications in a diverse number of spheres of activity. He is the designer and builder of the Performance Organiser and its associated web site chassis. The chassis and an accompanying model now provides the core functionality for the UK Ministry Of Defences Health and Safety Information SYStem (HSIS). HSIS is now a library of some 60k documents covering all aspect of health and safety issues surrounding the movement of hazardous materials which are being made available on demand to any of the MOD's staff, both uniformed and civilian, world wide on a 24/7/365 basis.
